Individual Student Application

Individual Student Eligibility

While we do occasionally accept referrals and set up specialized individual music programs, we do not usually accept individual students without any program referrals.

Some specialized programs in the past have been set up by specific partnerships with organisations such as PRAIDA, or organizations serving special needs. If you are part of an organization that sees a partnership with us as beneficial, please contact us.

Otherwise, we typically do not accept individual student requests from families at this moment due to limited resources. If you would like to still stay informed in case there is possibility in the future for individual lessons and open spaces for programs, then feel free to fill out the waiting list form below.

Individual Students should:
  • Be part of an underserved, minority, or asylum seeker population
  • Be able to show financial, academic, or personal risk/needs
  • Be interested in mentorship with music
  • Be within the ages of 10-18
  • Be residing (or asylum seeking) in the Greater Montréal region
  • Not already be enrolled or part of an extracurricular music program

Yes, if you are an organization or charity that works with underserved populations and there is a specific need, you are welcome to fill out the form and reach out to us. We cannot guarantee that we have capacity to accept individual students and referrals will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to accept all individual students. You can ask your education school officials to apply for a music program from us as a Host School. You can also fill out the form below to be considered for individual student lessons if capacity and programs become available.
