Christopher Ma is the founder and director of the School of Music Montreal. He started the organisation while he was an undergraduate student at McGill University studying sciences. He is an avid traveler that hopes to see the world and to continually share the joy of music.
“When I was 8, I joined the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. It is a music school that provided me with free music education. Without it, I would not have had the chance at experiencing the joy of learning and playing music. The school’s mission and support allowed me to have a musical education and experience that was unforgettable. For eight years, I learned, practiced, and performed music. After graduating from that program, I realized how much I missed it and how much it had changed me. Now I want to help others experience and enjoy music in the same way. Thus, the beginning of the School of Music Montreal.”
